For Parents
We are dedicated to developing relationships with and supporting Jewish students of all backgrounds – one or two Jewish parents, Reform, Conservative, or Orthodox, culturally Jewish, LGBTQ, multiracial – with a range of political views on Israel, domestic affairs and global concerns.
The CJL inspires and stretches your children as they explore and define what it means for them to be Jewish. Our leadership opportunities, programs and warm, diverse community help students develop their own Jewish sensibilities as they navigate this new stage of life. We hope that your student will become engaged with us at the CJL (if he or she isn’t already!).
Rabbi Gil Steinlauf ’91, in addition to being the Executive Director of the Center for Jewish Life – Princeton Hillel, is the Jewish Chaplain of the Princeton University Office of Religious Life. He is a compassionate listener and can help you navigate University resources should problems arise.
