Travel
The world is a big place. And while Princeton will bring a lot of the world to you, the CJL believes you should go out and see some of it for yourself. That’s why the CJL has trips that range from Africa to Israel, Germany to the Gulf Coast, Uruguay to West Virginia. Read below to find out more about some of these trips and check out our Resource page to see other travel opportunities.
Alternative Spring Break (ASB)
Uruguay. West Virginia. The Gulf Coast. These are some of the places the CJL has gone on Alternative Spring Break, an opportunity for Princeton students to leave the 'orange bubble' and spend their Spring Break helping a community outside of Princeton that is in need. From Hurricane Katrina relief, to working with Habitat for Humanity, to building a children’s playground, the CJL takes a group of students to a community, does service and also provides a Jewish context for the trip. If you are interested in finding out more, or on going on an ASB trip, please contact Marni Blitz at mblitz@princeton.edu.

The Center for Jewish Life/Hillel at Princeton University is proud to participate in the partnership between Hillel and Taglit - Birthright Israel in sending these free trips to Israel.
