Join the CJL at the Garden Theatre on Saturday night for a free showing of "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas." Called "one of the best films of 2008," this movie depicts the relationship that develops between two children during the Holocaust: one the son of a German lieutenant, the other a Jew imprisoned in Auschwitz. EMERGE! A Global Bazaar International development crafts fair and celebration

Emerge! A Global Bazaar is an initiative aimed at i) increasing awareness and interest and ii) provoking action in international development, while iii) developing synergies by creating a network of globally-minded students, faculty and initiatives. It presents issues such as poverty, healthcare and human rights. Emerge also celebrates the arts and culture in the developing world through promoting artisans (selling crafts) and performance from developing regions.
